At Rodeo Relief Ranch, we aim to build confident riders and well-rounded horses through honest training, intentional horsemanship, and a passion for western traditions. Whether you're starting your rodeo journey or leveling up for competition, we're here to support your goals every step of the way.
Roping & Horsemanship
Dean's been working with horses for 50+ years, and still believes the best ones are built from the ground up. Dean handles all the groundwork before Cassie puts the first rides on. He takes pride in helping horses develop a solid, respectful foundation. He offers horsemanship and roping lessons for all levels - from beginners just learning to swing a rope to more advanced riders looking to fine-tune their skills. Whether we're in the round pen or the roping box, Dean focuses on helping both horse and rider build trust, timing, and feel.
Barrel Racing & Pole Bending
Cassie grew up in a small Nebraska town on her family's dairy cattle farm. She developed a passion for horses from a young age and began competing at the age of 8. She has a background in a wide range of disciplines, including English, showmanship, and ranch horse pleasure. In 2021, she packed up and moved to Paradise, Texas, chasing her dream and building a training program from the ground up.
Her focus now is barrel and pole horse training. She offers in-person lessons, video critiques, monthly training, and consignments. Whether you're just starting out or chasing your next 1D run, Cassie's here to help you and your horse build confidence and connection in and out of the arena.
